The Piano and Brain Stimulation is Key!

After a thorough customized assessment, an Activity Specialist with the Hummingbird Project discovered Beverly’s history of playing the piano throughout most of her life. Working with the activity coordinator in the memory unit, they set up a time for Beverly to sit at the piano every day. Putting her hands on the keys brought familiarity that she needed. “Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!”
