Before the pandemic, Edna loved her trips to the grocery store; she identifies as an “expert” at choosing fresh fruits and vegetables. Knowing her desire for tactile stimulation, an Activity Specialist with the Hummingbird Project supplied Edna’s care team with different stimuli to explore. Unwrapping caramels and stirring a gooey mixture…what a satisfying way to celebrate Autumn! It’s sensory stimulation therapy at its best.
