Valentine’s Day and love are in the air! This month, we celebrate and reflect on the work of the Sage Home Care Quality of Life program, which is focused on creating JOYFUL MOMENTS for our clients. In partnership with Sage Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Home Care Managers, Care Managers, and Hummingbird Engagement Specialists, we strive to meet the holistic needs of clients at every stage of life.
Sage PCAs receive monthly training on QOL ideas tailored to their client’s needs. Sage’s proprietary Home Care QOL Portal offers abundant activity ideas and resources. It truly takes a village to make the magic happen!

Engagement: The Heart of the Home Care QOL Program
Participating in enjoyable and personalized activities is central to our program. We have discovered that when clients and their Personal Care Attendants engage together and find joy, the critical bond necessary for caregiving deepens and flourishes. Consequently, clients thrive in a positive and stable environment.
Hummingbird Engagement Specialists collaborate closely with PCAs to identify meaningful and fulfilling activities for each client. Consequently, Sage proudly reports that many of our clients and PCA teams enjoy long-term partnerships that last for years. These lasting relationships are crucial to the clients’ well-being, providing peace of mind for family caregivers.

During February, Sage PCAs and clients are BUSY strategizing, planning, and creating their entries for the Annual Valentine contest. Entries are accepted in four categories:

- Best Valentine Card
- Best Valentine Photo Shoot
- Best Random Act of Kindness
