The Spirit of Gratitude [Free Activity]
Practicing gratitude connects us to something larger than ourselves- whether to other people, nature or a higher power- and it can significantly improve our everyday lives.
Start with a walk in nature to collect branches for a Gratitude Tree. Then cut leaf shapes from colored paper or use artificial leaves from The Dollar Store. Sharpie markers work great to write what you are grateful for on the leaves. Then use ribbon to attach the leaves to the tree and watch your gratitude bloom!
This meaningful activity nurtures physical, emotional and spiritual qualities of life and can bring family and friends together in a personally unique way.
