While pondering the love within the man depicted in “Love Serenade Before the Bust of the Beloved”, by Henry Gillard Glindini, an Activity Specialist posed a question for the group of residents about their own personal “love songs” they may associate with someone or a specific time period. One attendee named Ricky shared that “Maria, Maria”, by Santana, was easily his favorite. The Activity Specialist played the song for the residents via her smart phone. Ricky appeared so proud that his song was affecting everyone in the room. Not a soul could hold still. Feet tapped and bodies swayed.
